This second generation is a backcross of First generation Goldendoodle and the F1B Goldendoodle. Its genetic make-up is approximately 62.5% Poodle  and  37.5% Golden Retriever.

There is high success rate for almost non-shedding in F2B Goldendoodle as compared to F1 and F2 generations.  The coat type varies from being shaggy, curly to straight. Like its F1’s  kin, the coat colors may range from cream, apricot, champagne to black and other color variation.

This generation can come in all three sizes: Small (around 15-30 pounds), Medium (30-50 pounds) and Standard (55 pounds or heavier).

So why choose a  F2B Goldendoodle? First, because you wanted an Goldendoodle and if you don’t know what generation to choose, consider the coat, the personality. The F2B Goldendoodle is at the spectrum of the genetic make-up wherein desirable Goldendoodle characteristics from its parents will be predicted and allergen-friendly coats are more likely. This pooch generation is highly recommended to families with allergies.
