F1B Goldendoodle – Choosing your Goldendoodle Generations

The F1B Goldendoodle is a cross back, meaning it is produced by interbreeding  the F1 Goldendoodle to a standard poodle. Hence, the F1B Goldendoodle is usually 75% Poodle and  25% Golden Retriever.

The F1B Goldendoodle is quite popular as the puppies take more of the characteristics of a poodle. With poodle being the dominant gene in this generation, shedding is even more minimal and its coat will be more curly like the Poodle. Some of the coat variety will include wavy, straight or curly and will come in cream, apricot or a combination of color variations.

The F1B Goldendoodle approximate sizes are:  Small  (around 15-30 pounds),  Medium  (around 35-50 pounds) and Standard  (55+ pounds).
